DAFA was founded in 1939 by Børge Norby.

What began as the production and installation of bronze sealing strips has evolved into the manufacturing of foam and rubber-based products for the construction, industrial, and wind energy sectors — including gaskets, joint tapes, and solutions for sound and vibration damping.

Following the establishment and acquisition of subsidiaries abroad, the DAFA Group now employs approximately 350 people across three continents and nine countries, with production facilities in Denmark, Italy, Poland, and China.

DAFA’s headquarters are located in Aarhus, Denmark.
