We are manufacturing from an environmental perspective

By minimizing waste of materials, upgrading machinery with machines that use less energy, and optimizing logistical tasks and transport, we actively seek to reduce our energy consumption and, thus, the environmental impact of our production.

We continuously explore new ways to optimize our production processes, always done with the environment in mind. We tailor solutions and help make it possible to choose more sustainably when you need to find the right packaging solution.

 

We also comply with the REACH, RoHS, and WEEE directives and thereby seek to protect people and the environment from dangerous and toxic chemicals.

 

At the same time, we continuously optimize our waste management and ensure an optimal degree of recycling. DAFA focuses on responsible waste management with as much reuse and recycling as possible. For example, parts of our residual material are recycled, and only a tiny part becomes combustible.

 

We have high goals - on behalf of the environment.
We work towards several specific environmental objectives that ensure production with a minimum of waste and waste production for the benefit of the environment.

We generate green energy for production

As part of our focus on energy optimization, we have installed solar cells on the roof of our headquarters in Brabrand. The plant generates about 6% of our total energy consumption. As we regularly expand the plant, we move towards a greener and more sustainable future.
