Solid rubber

Solid Rubber

Solid rubber can be used for sealing, protection and vibration dampening, where there are strict requirements for high wear resistance, flexibility, and resistance to heat, UV, or chemicals.

Solid rubber can be supplied as strips, gaskets, and custom sheets.

Chloroprene rubber (CR)

For applications requiring resistance to heat and UV.

The CR mixture has better weather resistance and lower flammability compared to natural rubber. Used for cladding, filling, protection, sealing, shock absorption and support.

  • Thickness: 1-10 mm
  • Width: 1200/1400 mm
  • Length: Depends on thickness
  • Color: Black

Ethylene propylene rubber (EPDM)

  • Excellent ozone and weather resistance
  • Good resistance to high and low temperatures and only minor swelling in hot water.
  • Excellent resistance to most chemicals, but poor resistance to oils, petrol and solvents
  • Thickness: 1-10 mm
  • Width: 1400 mm
  • Length: Depends on thickness
  • Color: Black

Nitrile rubber (NBR)

  • Excellent resistance to oils, petrol and solvents.
  • Limited resistance to weather and ozone.
  • Lower temperature resistance than other types of rubber
  • Thickness: 1-10 mm
  • Width: 1400 mm
  • Length: Depends on thickness
  • Color: Black

Urethane rubber (AU/ EU)

  • Urethane rubber consists of either polyester-urethane (AU) or polyether urethane (EU)
  • Characterized by high wear resistance, high tensile strength and excellent dampening properties
  • Resistant to mineral oils, petrol, benzole and other hydrocarbons, and oxygen and ozone
  • Available in hardnesses ranging from 60-90° Shore A
  • Thickness: 3-6-8-10 mm
  • Width: 1000 mm
  • Length: 2 m
  • Color: Yellow/Brown
