DAFA radon sump serves as a collection point for radon gas before it is vented away.

DAFA radon sump

DAFA radon sump is a prefabricated polyethylene foam unit, designed to serve as a collection point for radon gas before it is vented away, when connected to an exhaust fan. DAFA radon sumps should be used in places where suction is required under the floor. Depending on the configuration of the installed ventilation duct, the radon system may be connected to passive or active suction.
