DAFA IsoBatt™

DAFA IsoBatts are used as separators between the existing structure and the vapor barrier, e.g. during renovation projects. DAFA IsoBatts serve as the solid backing beneath the taped vapor barrier foil joins.

If the existing surface is unsuitable for laying foil on, e.g. if there are nail or screw tips or similar that could damage the foil, DAFA IsoBatts must be installed before installing the vapor barrier foil.

Trim the batts using a utility knife and fit them to the surrounding structures, such as rafters, frames, collar beams etc. DAFA IsoBatts must be completely level after laying.
