DAFA radon barrier
DAFA radon barrier ensures an effective airtight radon and moisture-resistant seal.
DAFA DPC can be used as a radon barrier at the foundation when correctly installed.
DAFA DPC is used as a barrier against moisture and radon. It can be used as a masonry wall barrier to prevent moisture from rising into bricks or woodwork. When correctly installed, DAFA DPC can also be used as a radon barrier at the foundation. It is placed on the foundation, below the brickwork and woodwork, to prevent rising damp. It is also used under the final row of bricks on outdoor walls, chimneys, etc., to protect against moisture ingress.
It can also be used as a sill membrane.
Material
DAFA DPC is made of LDPE (low-density polyethylene). LDPE is both flexible and soft to work with, while also being an incredibly tough material – its greatest strength.
