DAFA counter-batten

DAFA counter-battens are specially designed for installation in connection with renovating and re-insulating roof structures, and radon sealing.

DAFA counter-battens are used to attach foils to structural elements such as rafters, concrete, etc. They are affixed with u-shaped nails every 100 mm.

You should always ensure that the foil is affixed so that no damage occurs when the foil is subjected to load, such as during air tightness testing, molding, etc. It is also important that the foil is not tensioned so much that the joins are subjected to unnecessary strain.
