BLUE VAPOR BARRIER TAPE
FOR LONGITUDINAL AND TRANSVERSE JOINS

Blue vapor barrier tape is used for longitudinal and transverse joins in vapor barrier foil. The tape adheres to PP/PE membranes, plywood, planed wood, chipboard, and metal. The tape has firm adhesion that improves over time and is resistant to moisture and other climatic changes.

FOR SEALING AROUND SHAPED ELEMENTS

Green vapor barrier tape is also part of the DAFA AirStop System. The tape is used for sealing around vents, pipe and cable penetrations (where DAFA's universal pipe and cable collars cannot be used), air ducts, and corners. Green vapor barrier tape is very flexible and stretchable, allowing movement of the building elements.

Material

The multilayer structure with reinforcing mesh ensures a significantly stretch and tear-resistant vapor barrier foil. The foil must not be exposed directly to wood preservatives with added solvents.

Advantages of blue tape

NB: DAFA vapor barrier tape is a strong adhesive that should only be used in permanent applications, as the tape cannot be removed from the surface again!
