illmod 600 joint sealing tape

illmod 600 joint sealing tape is used to externally seal around windows and doors and for various sealing applications in industry. illmod 600 is a rainproof and vapor-permeable joint sealing tape which prevents the formation of rot and dry rot in the structure. It comes as pre-compressed rolls, self-adhesive on one side.

Material

Open cell polyurethane foam, rainproof and impregnated with eco-neutral flame-retardant artificial resin.

Testing DAFA joint sealing tape

All DAFA’s joint sealing tape is BG1 approved in line with the DIN 18542 standard. illmod 600 is the only joint sealing tape on the market that is subject to unannounced external quality control to check its ability to withstand driving rain, carried out by the MPA Hannover institute.

illmod 600 has been tested at 1350 Pa, installed as a one-stage seal (tested with oversizing)
